The second theme of our Inclusive School Year is “Be Kind”. By treating kindness, compassion and empathy as intentional acts, help your students create positive environments that are inclusive, respectful and free from bullying. With virtual Ambassador presentations and resources for every age, you can teach your class or youth group how all acts of kindness, no matter how big or small, make our schools, homes, and communities a much better place to live. “Be Kind” presentations focus on anti-bullying, respect, empathy and kind actions, and are available from January- March, 2023.

Book a Presentation
RHF Ambassadors are individuals with various disabilities affecting their mobility, vision, and/or hearing. They share their engaging stories with children and youth in schools and communities in the form of virtual presentations provided at no cost. Book a “Be Kind” themed presentation for your class, school or community group from January - March, 2023.
Ready to explore all the themes which make up an inclusive school year? This fall, we started the year with a “Be Aware” theme on disability inclusion, and in the final months of the school year students will learn to “Be Bold” making a difference in their communities.
The Starfish Story
Pre-Presentation Activity: Create starfish together and have students write one kind action they can do that will make a difference for someone else.
Walk with Me
Post-Presentation Activity: Present students with scenarios that give them the opportunity to be kind.
Mystery “Kindness Buddies”
Students learn to see and act on opportunities for kindness with their mystery “kindness buddy”.
Roll On – Exploring Kindness
Pre-Presentation Activity: Share the story Roll On by Ainslie Manson. You may have the hard copy book, or you can find the e-book and the audio book in our resource library.
Walk with Me
Post-Presentation Activity: Use the provided scenario cards OR students can create their own scenarios where kindness is key.
Kindness Challenge Bingo
Create a list of kind actions together with your class – and turn doing them into a game of bingo!
